Spring 2025 Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification Course - 4-week, 40 hour training course [March 28, 2025- April 25, 2025]

THIS COURSE WILL COVER TOPICS INCLUDING:

• Introduction to the theory of backflow protection
• laws, rules and regulations governing cross-connection
• maintenance methods for backflow prevention assemblies
• methods of testing: RP, DC, PVB & SVB
• theory of operation
• trouble-shooting procedures 

Course Information:

Classes Meet Every Friday evening and Saturday for 4 weeks 

Start Date: March 28, 2025 

End Date:  April 25, 2025

Exam Date: Saturday, April 26

Time: Friday 4:30p-7:30p and Saturday 8:30a - 4:00p

• AWWA Exam fees
  • ALL registered students must also submit exam application and payment for exam separately
  • AWWA does not allow organizations to submit exams or payments for testers
• Testers must submit exam application and payment before 20 days prior to exam date
  • For this exam you must submit application and payment for exam by April 6th 
• PHCC Training Administrator is happy to assist you with this process and will send you the application once you have registered for the course
